Booking and Service

  1. Bookings through our website or Consolidators are deemed to be made when final confirmation of the booking has been sent via email. All terms and conditions are deemed to have been accepted at the point confirmation is made.
  2. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that collections and deliveries of the vehicle are made at the requested times, we do not accept any responsibility for delays of its service, caused as a result of circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic congestion, delayed flights, security alerts. This list is not definitive.
  3. We do not cover short stay car park charges and passenger drop-off zone charge at the time of pick-up and drop-off at Heathrow Airport. 0-30 minutes £6.00.
  4. Please refer to the email you receive from us acknowledging your booking for details of collection and delivery procedures. It is important that you follow these closely. If in doubt call us for assistance.

Payment

  1. Increased duration of stay will be debited from the client’s account and payment collected prior to the return of the vehicle. Any extended days will be charged at a rate of £15.00 per day.
  2. Full payment of booked service is due prior to the commencement of the service.
  3. If your return time passes our operatinhlg hours i.e. after 23:30 from your actual paid booking date and your vehicle needs to be delivered after midnight, an additional midnight charge of £25.00 is applied. Our operating hours are from 06:00 till 23:30.
  4. Out of hours / midnight charge will apply.

Your rights and responsibilities

  1. Please refer to the email you receive from us acknowledging your booking for details of collection and delivery procedures. It is important that you follow these closely. If in doubt call us for assistance.
  2. Make sure your vehicle is in a roadworthy, safe and legal condition with full insurance, road tax and MOT.
  3. On your return to the UK please follow the procedures referred to in paragraph 1 above.

Liabilities and other terms

  1. Our insurance covers our legal liabilities.
  2. We will take all reasonable care of your vehicle for the period you have booked and paid for, starting from when you give us your keys
  3. Vehicles and moveable items that are left unattended are left at the owners risk whilst the vehicle is in our possession.
  4. No claim for damage can be made unless the damage was brought to the attention of our representative upon collection of vehicle on your return and written notification is given to you at the time.
  5. We accept no liability for any mechanical, structural and electrical failure of any part of your vehicle including windscreens, glass, and tyres and in particular alloy wheels howsoever caused. This list is not exhaustive.
  6. We accept no liability for any loss or damage whatsoever caused unless proved to be caused by the negligence of our employees.
  7. Your vehicle must be taxed and comply with the Road Traffic Act 1988. This is deemed by us to be the case for the whole duration while the vehicle is in our possession. Any liabilities occurred by Our Company as a result of the client’s vehicle not complying with the Road Traffic Act, the Customer will be held responsible for all costs/liabilities incurred by the Company.
  8. We accept no liability for any faulty keys, alarm fobs, house or other keys left on the key ring. In the event of vehicles not starting, we reserve the right to charge for our time. Only the Car Key should be given.
  9. In the event that the car acquires a puncture whilst in our possession (including slow punctures) we reserve the right to charge either to inflate the tyre or for changing of the tyre.
  10. In the event that the car does not start due to a flat battery, we reserve the right to charge for our time in attempting to start the vehicle. We will not be held responsible for any consequences that may result as a direct result of us having to jump-start your vehicle.
  11. In the event that we have to pick you up from the Terminal Building, due to a mechanical failure of your vehicle, we reserve the right to charge for this and any associated costs that we may incur.
  12. We require the Customer to have a spare key for their vehicle, which would we require be taken with the customer.
  13. Although we will generally keep your car at the same secure compound for the duration of the booking period,during certain busy periods or lengthy periods of stay, your car may be parked in any one of our Secondary Secure Compounds, which could be up to 15 miles away (one way) depending on which terminal you have dropped your vehicle off. *Please note, the security level at these secondary compounds may not be at the same level as the main compound.
  14. If you park for longer than the period you have booked for, we will charge you for the extra days at the full daily price that applies at the time and if you have not claimed your vehicle within a reasonable time after the end of your booked period or contacted us to agree a new arrangement we can regard your vehicle as having been abandoned. We may then make arrangements for its disposal to cover our costs (but we will take reasonable steps to contact you before doing so) in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977. There are no refunds for early returns.
  15. We may retain your vehicle until you have paid the full amount due.
  16. In the event that your vehicle needs to be repaired as a result of our negligence, it must be carried out by our own approved organisation. It will be your responsibility to deliver and collect the car from the garage at your own cost. We will not authorise or agree for any works to be carried out by dealerships even in the event of the vehicle foregoing its warranty.

Exclusions and limits of our responsibility

  1. Any vehicle parked by the Customer personally at a car park does so entirely at his or her own risk.
  2. Loss or damage covered by your own insurance. No vehicles will be covered for Theft/Fire/Flood or any other intervening act of nature whilst the vehicle is in our custody.
  3. Any indirect/direct loss as a result of damage or loss to the vehicle (such as loss of earnings/missed flights etc.).
  4. We will not pay more than £10,000 for loss or damage to the vehicle.
  5. We endeavour to deliver your vehicle back to you within 45 minutes depending on traffic and weather conditions.
  6. We will not be held liable for any delayed or missed flights / car hire charges as a direct or indirect result of our service.
  7. We will not be responsible for any minor scratches or dents (whether marked on this document or not) which may not be possible to identify in confined times and weather conditions.
  8. We will not be responsible for any chips or broken glass to the vehicle whether mentioned on this document or not.
  9. We will not be responsible for any valuables left in the vehicle while in our custody.
  10. We will not be responsible for any discolour of paintwork or dents or scratches that may become visible after a car wash/rainfall. This is regardless whether the dents or scratches are mentioned in this document or not.
  11. We will not be responsible for any damage to any alloys or tyres regardless of whether any damage is mentioned or not on this document.
  12. In the event that we agree to any form of repair or compensation (whether liability or not by us) you (the client) will be responsible for the excess of any claim being £200.00 for any claims up to £1000.00 and £400.00 excess for any claims in excess of £1000.00
  13. The internal condition of the car is not checked at any time an no responsibility is accepted for the interior condition.
  14. We will not be held liable for any claims of any nature below £750.00 including any alleged dents, bumps and scratches.
  15. We accept no liability for any insurance cover for you, your vehicle, or its contents, except for your vehicle when being driven by our drivers on the public highway.
  16. We accept no liability for any damage to your vehicle, including windscreens, wing mirrors, aerials, punctures, wheel scuffs, chip marks, minor scratches and dents, mechanical or electrical failure, or other events beyond our control, or any loss or theft of or damage to the vehicle’s contents unless such damage loss or theft arises as a result of our failure to meet our contractual obligations to you.
  17. We accept no liability for any matters that are covered by your car, holiday, household, motor or any other more specific insurance. You must look to that cover for protection in the first instance.
  18. We accept no liability for any direct or indirect consequences of force majeure, terrorism, catastrophe, adverse weather, industrial action, cancellation of flights, loss of baggage, traffic conditions, vandalism, failure of third parties to comply with their obligations to you (whether contractual statutory or otherwise) or criminal activity of any description.
  19. We accept no liability for any natural deterioration in the vehicle’s condition while it is with us.
  20. We accept no liability for any property left unattended in your vehicle, on our site or in courtesy vehicles and trailers.
  21. We accept no liability for any consequential (indirect) losses including but not limited to the cost of car hire hotels meals or other expenses incurred by you.
  22. We accept no liability for any delays due to wrong information on the booking form.
